Every year, Major League Baseball honors one player for off the field contributions
with the Roberto Clemente Award. The winner is selected by a
fan vote.
OSITF is proud to endorse A's starter Brandon McCarthy for the 2012 Roberto Clemente Award. As the Waldo Canyon fire was burning, McCarthy and his wife, who both grew up in Colorado Springs,
organized a fundraiser for those affected by
the most destructive wildfire in Colorado history.
