That has to be, hands down, the worst call in MLB history. (Well, maybe robbing Armando Galarraga of a perfect game no hitter was worse, but this is the most blatantly incorrect. Ever!) It will probably be the direct cause of implementing video replay on a large scale.
Even had tickets to go see the Redbirds-Saluks, but final papers got in the way. I'll see if they play tomorrow.
