Eric Hosmer isn't the only PFBL favorite that I pulled. |
It's that time again...
Valentine's Day! My lovely wife Kristi bought me a double pack of Topps 2012. Don't worry, I returned the favor. I personally delivered flowers and chocolates to her at work. Since this was my first pack of Topps 2012, I thought I might share with you, loyal OSITF readers, some of the cool cards I pulled. Click any card to enlarge.
The only Rockie I pulled was Chris Iannetta, who is no longer a Rockie. |
Luckily, I pulled Tyler Chatwood, who was traded to the Rockies in exchange for Chris Iannetta. |
For the third time in two packs, I pulled Danny Valencia. In my last pack of Topps 2011, I pulled two different Danny Valencia cards, back to back. |
Ryan Braun, will he be one of my keepers? |
Justin "The Concussion" Morneau will NOT be one of my keepers. |
Javy Guerra was also on my fantasy team. So was James Loney, who I pulled as well. I didn't post his card because I already have two Dodgers in this post, which is more than enough. |
Josh Hamilton. This is just a sweet card. |
I have no strong feelings about Jayson Werth, but the photo on this card is really cool. |
I pulled Skip Schumaker, unfortunately it wasn't this card. |
Finally, the coolest card I pulled was this David Freese Game 6 card. |
Classic. Among my notables from my first pack of 2012 topps were a Drew Pomeranz RC, Roy Halladay Topps Mini (1987esque wooden frame), Starlin Castro Gold Futures, Ubaldo Jimenez, Kelly Shoppach, Tim Hudson Golden Moments Game Worn memorabilia.
ReplyDeleteThat Freese card is awesome. I really want that rally squirrel card too, looks like i need to pick up a few packs soon.
ReplyDeleteGreat work! Can't wait to get my hands on some 2012 Topps as well. Nice hyperlinks, too.
ReplyDeleteI'm gonna go ahead and say that you are not going to keep Braun.
